WHY DOESN'T AUSTIN MUSIC CENTER
RENT-TO-OWN STRING INSTRUMENTS? |

1. A
string instrument must be the correct size for the student to hold the
instrument correctly. In addition to standard size string instruments,
Austin Music Center carries violins in 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 the
size of a full-size instrument to ensure correct fit. In addition,
Austin Music Center carries all fractional sizes of other string
instruments .

2. As
a student grows in height, s/he will need a larger instrument. Renting
to own a string instrument that will quickly be the wrong size is
not cost effective. (Band instruments come in "one size fits all.")

3. As
the child grows, Austin Music Center provides the next size instrument
at no additional cost. In addition, the cost of rental DOES NOT
increase.

4. Forty
percent of the accrued equity paid in rental fees will be
applied to the purchase price of any string instrument.
