WHY DOESN'T AUSTIN MUSIC CENTER RENT-TO-OWN STRING INSTRUMENTS?

• 1.   A string instrument must be the correct size for the student to hold the instrument correctly. In addition to standard size string instruments, Austin Music Center carries violins in 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 the size of a full-size instrument to ensure correct fit.

• 2.   As a student grows in height, s/he will need a larger instrument. The Rent-to-Own Plan for band instruments is not a good choice for string instruments.

• 3.  A student receives the appropriate size instruments as s/he grows at no additional cost. The rental cost remains the same. 

•  

• 4.  When a student needs a full-size instrument, continue to rent or use 40% of the accrued equity towards the purchase of any string instrument-not necessarily the rental instrument.

Austin Music Center sells name brand acoustic and electric guitars.
